National Mortgage Awards – Second Charge 2026 

Organised by Astor Media Limited 
Effective as of 01/01/2026 

  1. Eligibility

1.1. Entry is open to companies, brokers, and professionals operating within the UK second charge mortgage sector. 
1.2. Entrants must be fully compliant with all relevant FCA regulations and applicable UK law. 
1.3. Submissions must relate to activity undertaken during the 2026 awards period, as specified within the relevant category criteria. 

  1. Submission of Entries

2.1. All entries must be submitted exclusively via the official online entry platform by 31st July 2026 at 11:59 PM (BST). 
2.2. Entries submitted by email, post, or other methods will not be accepted. 
2.3. Incomplete, inaccurate, or late submissions will be disqualified. 
2.4. Astor Media Limited reserves the right to request supporting documentation to verify any claims made in entries. 

  1. Judging Process

3.1. Judging will be conducted by an independent panel of industry professionals appointed by Astor Media Limited. 
3.2. All judging decisions are final, confidential, and not open to appeal. 
3.3. Entries will be judged on clearly defined criteria, including innovation, performance, customer service, compliance, and impact. 

  1. Award Categories

4.1. The full list of award categories is available on the official awards website and may be amended at the discretion of the organiser. 
4.2. Entrants may submit to multiple categories, provided each submission is tailored to the specific criteria. 
4.3. Astor Media Limited reserves the right to move entries to more appropriate categories or to withdraw categories with insufficient entries. 

  1. Winner Status & Promotion

5.1. Finalists and winners consent to the use of their name, company logo, and likeness for promotional purposes by Astor Media Limited. 
5.2. Winners may promote their award using accurate titles (e.g., “Winner – Best Second Charge Broker 2026”). 
5.3. Misuse or misrepresentation of award titles may result in public correction and revocation of award status. 

  1. Event Participation

6.1. The awards ceremony will take place on 19th November 2026, Parkgate Hotel, Westgate St, Cardiff, CF10 1DA. 
6.2. Attendance by finalists is strongly encouraged. 
6.3. All costs relating to travel, accommodation, and table or ticket purchases are the responsibility of the attendee unless otherwise stated. 

  1. Conduct

7.1. All participants must act professionally and uphold the integrity of the event and the industry. 
7.2. Astor Media Limited reserves the right to disqualify or remove any person or organisation for conduct deemed unethical, disruptive, or damaging to the reputation of the awards. 

  1. Liability

8.1. Astor Media Limited accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or liability arising from participation in the awards. 
8.2. Entrants are responsible for ensuring that all submitted content is accurate, original, and does not infringe third-party rights. 

  1. Acceptance of Terms

9.1. By submitting an entry or purchasing attendance to the event, participants agree to these Terms of Acceptance. 
9.2. Breaches of these terms may result in disqualification and exclusion from current or future events. 

  1. Ticket & Table Sales – Cancellation Policy

10.1. All ticket and table purchases for the National Mortgage Awards – Second Charge 2026 are strictly non-refundable. 
10.2. This policy applies to all cancellations regardless of the reason. 
10.3. Name substitutions are permitted up to 48 hours before the event, subject to written notice sent to martin.davies@astormedia.co.uk 
10.4. In the event of cancellation or postponement of the ceremony due to force majeure or factors outside the organiser’s control, purchasers will be offered: 

  • A transfer of their booking to the rescheduled event, or 
  • A credit note for future use, at the organiser’s discretion. 
    10.5. Astor Media Limited is not responsible for any associated expenses (e.g., travel or accommodation). 
  1. 11.Privacy

11.1. Any personal data provided in connection with the National Mortgage Awards – Second Charge 2026 will be processed by Astor Media Limited in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and the Astor Media Limited Privacy Policy. 

  1. Verification of Entries

12.1. Astor Media Limited reserves the right to verify any information submitted as part of an entry and may request additional supporting evidence where reasonably required. 

12.2. Failure to provide requested supporting information within the timeframe specified by the organiser may result in the entry being disqualified. 

12.3. Any entry found to contain false, misleading, or materially inaccurate information may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Astor Media Limited. 

  1. 13.Intellectual Property& Event Photography 

13.1. Entrants retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in the materials submitted as part of their entry. 

13.2. By submitting an entry, entrants grant Astor Media Limited a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish and display submitted materials, including company names, logos, images, photographs and extracts from submissions, for the purposes of administering, judging, promoting and publicising the National Mortgage Awards current and future events organised by Astor Media Limited. 

13.3. Official photographers and videographers appointed by Astor Media Limited may capture images and recordings during the awards ceremony. By attending the event, attendees consent to the use of their image, likeness and voice in photographs, video recordings and other media for promotional, editorial and marketing purposes relating to the National Mortgage Awards and future events organised by Astor Media Limited, without further notice or compensation. 

  1. Amendments

14.1. Astor Media Limited reserves the right to amend these Terms of Acceptance where reasonably necessary, including to reflect changes in applicable law, event arrangements or operational requirements. 

14.2. Any updated Terms of Acceptance will be published on the official awards website and will take effect from the date of publication. 

  1. Governing Law

15.1. These Terms of Acceptance shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 

15.2. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
